Frequently Asked Questions
FAQ's
Where do the grooming sessions take place?
All grooming is done inside your home — right where your pet feels the safest and most comfortable. This is a fear-free grooming technique that helps reduce stress and anxiety for pets, especially those sensitive to travel, loud environments, or unfamiliar spaces.
Do you have a grooming van or mobile salon?
No, D’yana does not use a mobile grooming van. Instead, she brings all her tools and supplies into your home, creating a calm, familiar environment for your pet.
What do I need to provide?
All you need is:
Access to a wash area (such as a sink, bathtub, or walk-in shower)
Electricity
Running water
D’yana will handle the rest, including cleanup after the appointment.
How often should my pet be groomed?
For most dogs and cats, grooming every 4–8 weeks is ideal to maintain coat health, prevent matting, and keep nails trimmed. Breeds with longer coats or special needs may require more frequent visits.
What if my pet is anxious or fearful?
D’yana specializes in working with higher-anxiety pets and uses gentle, low-stress handling techniques. Her 18+ years as a veterinary technician mean she knows how to keep pets comfortable and calm throughout the grooming process.
Do you groom cats as well as dogs?
Yes! D’yana is experienced with both cats and dogs, including senior pets and those with medical or behavioral considerations.
